Eastern Christian Formation
The eparchial Eastern Christian Formation (ECF) program uses
the GOD WITH US Catechetical Series.
The series explores the unchangeable truth of the Christian
message and the witness of the Eastern Catholic Church. Its
purpose is to present the whole Christian doctrine as a
unified message. The message imposes demands, brings
consequences and establishes an ultimate goal: union with God.
Each individual parish, and indeed the whole faith-community
must witness to a life in Christ that leads individuals more
deeply into communal worship and a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ and his church.
Most importantly, the Eastern Christian Formation program
helps young people develop a readiness to accept and to make
their own the lifestyle and tradition of the community of
believers.
