Education
The church always has considered education one of her primary
tasks. Before Christ ascended to his Father after his
resurrection, he gave the apostles a final command to “make
disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that
I have commanded” (Mt 28:19).
Through them, Jesus Christ entrusts us with the mission and
the power to proclaim to humanity “What was from the
beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our
eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands,
concerning the Word of Life” (1 Jn 1:1).
He also entrusts us with the mission to explain with authority
what He has taught us, His words and actions, His signs and
commandments. He gives us his Holy Spirit to fulfill this
mission.
