If you’ve ever
listened to Sirius Catholic Radio, you probably have heard Fr.
Michael sharing his love for Christ, the Gospel, the Mother of God
and the Byzantine Catholic Church.
Ordained a
priest for the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Van Nuys, California,
he currently serves as pastor of Holy Protection Church in Denver,
Colorado. The parish hosts a Speaker/Discussion/Pizza Series for the
Denver Young Adult community on the second Wednesday of every month
following the 6:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy.
Father also
participates extensively in Catholic Young Adult life throughout the
Archdiocese of Denver. Locals likely know him as the "Byzantine
priest who concelebrates Mass with ABC (Archbishop Chaput --
Archbishop of Denver)."
In addition to
parish life, his radio ministry and his involvement in Young Adult
Ministry, Father also serves as Assistant Director of Vocations for
the Eparchy of Van Nuys and Assistant Director of the Eparchial
Alive in Christ boys’ camp, among his other activities.
Anyone who knows
Father Michael immediately knows his love for the people of God,
especially the poor, the marginalized and the suffering.
His youth, his
zeal for Christ and his dynamic preaching make Father Michael the
perfect presenter for this retreat. You won’t return home the same.
