CHRISTIAN UNITY Petitions for the Liturgical Service

Litany of Peace:

For our parish communities and families, that where there is misunderstanding and discord there may be the grace to forgive, and where there is division unity may be nourished, let us pray to the Lord.

For all leaders in the church, that where there is jealousy or distrust, a spirit of forgiveness and compassion may nurture humble service, let us pray to the Lord.
 

Litany of Fervent Supplication:

Again we pray for your church in the world. Sanctify its life, renew its worship, empower its witness, heal its divisions, and make visible its unity. Lead us, with all our brothers and sisters, towards communion in faith, life, and witness so that we may together witness to the perfect unity of your love. We pray You, O Lord, hear and have mercy.
