PARMA, Ohio — The Office of Religious Education has launched a new eparchy-wide adult faith formation program, entitled “I BELIEVE – The Nicene Creed: Our Statement of Faith,” in conjunction with this year’s Stewardship Appeal. MUNSTER, Ind. — Monsignor Frank Korba has been a priest of the Eparchy of Parma for 52 years, serving from one end of the eparchy to the other. He was the rector of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Parma, Ohio, and later was pastor at St. Nicholas Parish in Munster, Indiana. Now retired, Monsignor Korba now benefits from the Stewardship Appeal, which funds retired priests’ health insurance. READ MORE.

PITTSBURGH — Michael David Kunitz is a third-year seminarian for the Eparchy of Parma. Michael entered seminary from St. Stephen Parish in Allen Park, Michigan. He first heard the call to the priesthood while in high school and, at age 23, decided it was “worth dedicating” the rest of his life to. He said seminary has been a humbling and forming experience. PARMA, Ohio — As part of a significant cost-cutting strategy, the chancery offices of the Eparchy of Parma moved from the cathedral complex at 1900 Carlton Road in Parma to smaller office space on the third floor of a corporate building at 5000 Rockside Road in Independence, Ohio. The move took place at the beginning of August. The former offices at the cathedral complex are currently being used for archives and extra storage. READ MORE.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. — St. Stephen Parish in Allen Park, Michigan, has been blessed with a new administrator to fill the void the community had experienced since their previous pastor of 30 years, Father Cyril Attak, retired in 2017.
